NICO & DANI
A summer holiday turns into sexual awakening when teenage Dani (Fernando
Ramallo) invites best friend Nico (Jordi Vilches) for a stay at his parents'
beach house. While the folks are away, the boys do play--drinking, smoking
and engaging in a little late-night activity called "Krámpack" (which
refers to their way of mutually, er ah, handling their raging hormones).
But the duo's diverging sexuality threatens to divide their
friendship--especially when Dani's deepening affection for Nico goes unrequited
as Nico turns his attention toward the girls he meets on the beach. With
honest performances and respectful direction, Nico and Dani explores these
adolescent longings and confusions (oh, the confusion!) with sensitivity
and subtle humor.
